# submit

Submit the checkout. This is useful when using your own custom submit button. See the `submitButton` option in [UniversalCheckoutOptions](https://primer.io/docs/sdk/web/v2.x.x/primer/methods/showUniversalCheckout.md) to learn how to do that.
